  • Set direction for IKEA Food within the country and develop and lead the implementation of the IKEA Food business plan
  • Initiate, action and analyse projects from both a commercial and financial perspective in order to make recommendations
  • Co-ordinate the management and coaching of 600 staff, effectively inspire and lead them, plan for succession
  • Support, visit, share best practice and work closely with the stores to help to reach operational excellence
  • Support purchasing and goods flow strategies for the country
  • Seek all ways to increase operational efficiency
  • Define the commercial strategy for the international and national range and utilise to optimize sales and gross margin result
  • Create and implement a successful pricing strategy based on international and retail guidelines
  • Monitor the national food market environment regarding competitors, customer expectations and trends
  • Develop and support the implementation of communication policies, sales and marketing strategies both externally and in store
  • Be responsible that all units meet legal requirements for food safety, HACCP and labelling
  • Work with head office expansion team to advise on new store and revamp building projects
